What to Expect

Elizabeth says:

I don’t believe in the ‘having a nice chat and then your time is up’ mentality that still exists today amongst many Coaches and Counsellors. If I can get my clients sorted in fewer sessions then I take that as a huge compliment and have a powerful sense of achievement over that.

I have studied and practiced coaching for many years, so whilst I try to work together with my clients to enable them to find their own solutions I am also going to tell you what I think and what I know. I educate my clients and give them the tools they require so they can go and do a lot of the work themselves rather than having to pay me. There are more than enough people for me to work with and I don’t need to elongate the process in any way when I can be making it quicker and more efficient, whilst empowering people to change their lives for the better.

The process also requires complete and total honesty and confidentiality on both sides. That goes without saying. Non-disclosure agreements (NDA’s) are normally signed on request.

This is not about me … it’s about you … but, I have been married for nearly 27 years and we have two children.  My background is far from normal and I always laugh when peoples first impressions of me are that I was born in to an easy existence and that I have cruised through life.  The opposite is true, and whilst this had its challenges as I was growing up, it has made me the strong, resilient and happy person I am today. I have worked hard to build my life and my business and I absolutely love what I do.

My father spent his life telling me that you have to work on yourself and your own life and take responsibility for every aspect of it. I grew up surrounded by chaos and trauma, but despite that we kept our sanity and never lost our family sense of optimism and fun. My father’s advice and influence has come full circle and is a huge inspiration to me and my business today.
